About the Friends of Adam Smith Foundation
The Friends of Adam Smith was established in November 2000 by the Board of Directors of the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) along with many of its members.
Charged to research and promote the historical and relevant link between politics, public policy and economic freedom, the Friends of Adam Smith will highlight the role of business and business leadership in both the private sector and in government.
The Friends of Adam Smith foundation will also pursue related efforts that seek to highlight the positive contributions of business and business leaders to the development of good government and lasting prosperity.
